So we’re heading on an adventure. Steve, Ella, and I have officially closed the door on East Coast living and making our way to the West Coast. It’s totally bittersweet, but also really exciting. As we were planning this trip we knew there were places we had to stop. Some were our favorites we wanted to rediscover one last time. Some were new places that we both really wanted to explore. Some were places where friends live. But also there are some places that just fill the gap between one destination and the next. And it is through those locations that this blog grew out of. It really started with Googling, what is there to do in [insert any city name] and discovering how we spent our time. And the more we researched, the more it became apparent that there are so many adventures to be had everywhere.
I’ve always been an explorer and had the good fortune to travel when I was younger so I’ve always had an inquisitive mind when it comes to going to other places. I have some favorites but discovering new places has always been exciting for me. And I’m lucky to share my life with someone who believes that too. A love and appreciation of nature and others was ingrained in me early on. I was taught that this country is full of exciting, beautiful places and have always wanted to experience even a sliver of them.
What Is There To Do In. . . may have started from pure wonder about what the heck is there to do in Minnesota, or Idaho. But it’s evolved to now picking just a few things to do in our stopover destinations. We are both excited about exploring more of this amazing country and discovering more about ourselves.
